Terms and Conditions — Echo Web Design
Effective Date: 4.9.2025
Welcome to Echo Web Design (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our services, purchasing a website package, or engaging in any form of project with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Services Offered
- Standard Package: Home page, About page, Contact page with functional contact form and confirmation, Basic SEO, Basic integrations.
- Advanced Projects: Larger or more complex builds may include e-commerce, additional pages, integrations, or custom functionality.
- Add-On Services: Branding support, SEO, content writing, website maintenance, and more — available upon request.
- Maintenance Service: SEO, Blogs, and other ongoing support are available as add-ons.
Scope and deliverables are defined before project start, based on client consultation and agreement.
2. Payments & Pricing
- All Projects: 50% deposit upfront, 50% due upon completion (before handoff or site go-live). More payment options available for larger projects
Custom quotes will be provided based on project size, complexity, and timeline.
💡 No hidden fees. Any changes to scope will be clearly communicated and priced before work begins.
3. Refunds & Cancellations
- Refunds are not guaranteed once work has begun, especially for $500 projects which are discounted and upfront.
- If a project is canceled by the client mid-way, all completed work up to that point must be paid in full.
- We reserve the right to cancel a project and issue a partial refund if communication ceases for 14+ days or if terms are violated.
4. Revisions
- All packages include 2 rounds of revisions after the first draft is submitted.
- Revisions must be submitted within 5 business days of receiving a draft unless otherwise arranged.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Provide clear direction, feedback, and any required assets (logo, copy, images) in a timely manner
- Respond to communication and revision requests within 3–5 business days
- Be honest and collaborative so we can deliver the best final product possible
- Delays on the client side may delay the overall timeline and may be subject to rescheduling.
6. Project Timelines
- $500 Websites: 7-10 business days
- $1000+ Projects: 2–5 weeks (depending on scope)
- Rush jobs may incur an additional fee
7. Ownership & Usage Rights
Upon final payment, you own full rights to the completed website design and assets created specifically for you (excluding third-party stock or tools).
We reserve the right to showcase the work in our portfolio or marketing, unless otherwise requested in writing.
8. Third-Party Services
We may use or recommend third-party tools and platforms (e.g., fonts, plugins, analytics, contact forms). You're responsible for reviewing their terms and handling their separate fees or agreements.
We're not liable for issues caused by third-party providers.
9. Website Maintenance & Support
Post-launch support (like content edits, troubleshooting, or maintenance) is not included in the base package unless stated in writing. Ongoing support plans are available as add-ons.
10. Limitation of Liability
We do our best to deliver secure, functional, and clean websites. However, Echo Web Design is not liable for:
- Hosting/server downtime
- Third-party plugin conflicts or changes
- Losses resulting from content inaccuracies provided by the client
11. Termination
- The client becomes unresponsive for 14+ days
- Payment deadlines are missed
- Terms of respect, trust, or communication are broken
All completed work will remain the property of Echo Web Design until payment is completed in full.
12. Updates to Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. Your continued use of our services after any update means you accept the revised Terms.
